Rain & Weather 

- What happens if it rains?

The Woodland has a covered ceremony space available on-site that serves as our rain backup. If weather looks questionable, our team will work with you to move the ceremony into the covered space so your day can continue beautifully and stress-free.

An on-site staff member will be present to assist with the transition and ensure everything is set up smoothly.

 

Ground, Footwear & Accessibility

-Is The Woodland accessible and high-heel friendly?

The Woodland is a natural, forest venue with paths similar to those you’d find in an unpaved national park. While many areas are accessible and can accommodate wheelchairs, the terrain includes gravel, mulch, roots, and gently uneven ground.

For this reason, we strongly recommend guests wear flat or block-heel shoes rather than thin heels, which can sink into the ground.
Wedges, boots, sandals, and flats are the most comfortable options.

If you or one of your guests has specific accessibility needs, please let us know in advance and we will gladly help you plan the best route.

 

What about bugs?

-Will there be bugs?

We are in a natural woodland setting, so insects are part of the environment. We treat the grounds regularly and recommend guests bring personal bug spray if they are sensitive.

 

What about extreme heat or cold?

-What if it’s too hot or too cold?

We recommend checking the forecast and dressing accordingly. Shade is available throughout the venue, and we encourage couples to plan ceremony times that avoid the hottest part of the day in summer months.

 

Are pets allowed?

-Can we bring our dog?

We allow pets for the ceremony as long as they are leashed and supervised. Please check with us first.

 

Is the venue private?

-Will there be other events happening at the same time?

No. Your reservation is completely private during your event time.


 

Can we decorate?

-Can we bring our own décor?

Yes! You are welcome to bring personal décor. We ask that all décor is free-standing and that nothing is nailed, screwed, or tied to trees. All personal items must be removed by the end of your rental period. 

 

What about music and noise?

-Can we play music?

Yes, we allow ceremony music and small speakers. Because we are in a peaceful woodland setting, amplified music must remain at a respectful volume. We even have a bluetooth speaker you can use! (We recommended downloading any songs you would like to play)

 

What if the weather is dangerous?

-What if the weather is severe?

In the rare event of unsafe weather, we will work with you to either move to the covered space, reschedule, or refund per our weather policy.

 

Guest Count & Parking

-Is there a guest limit?

Yes. To preserve the intimate, peaceful nature of The Woodland and protect the property, guest counts are limited based on your package. This ensures a comfortable experience for everyone and allows us to maintain the beauty of our natural setting.

 

How much parking is available?
-The Woodland offers 15 on-site parking spaces for guest vehicles.

We kindly ask couples to plan accordingly by encouraging carpooling or arranging off-site transportation if needed. This helps keep the venue safe, accessible, and stress-free for all guests.
